Following the resignation of Sunday Oliseh as the Super Eagles coach early Friday morning, TribuneSport has gathered that the Nigeria Football Federation has put the U-23 coach, Samson Siasia on standby.
Information available to Nigeria Politics from its source in Abuja indicated that the Federation was not surprised by Oliseh’s resignition but was just waiting for him to make the move.
The Federation shortly after the failure of the team to excel in Rwanda, has told Siasia to be on standby but because the Minister told them not to sack Oliseh, the Federation rescinded its decision.
The NFF has confirmed Oliseh’s letter of resignation.
